1. Data we collect

2. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
- Contract performance — processing your license key and delivering paid features.
- Legitimate interests — anonymised analytics and session recordings used to improve the service.
- Legal obligation — retaining transaction records as required by Italian and EU tax law.
3. Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. The calculator stores data in your browser's localStorage (not cookies). Plausible Analytics is cookieless. Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention on the checkout page.
4. Third parties
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Plausible Analytics — cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics. No personal data transferred.
- Google Fonts — font delivery. May log your IP address per Google's standard policy.
5. Data retention
- Session recordings: deleted after 30 days.
- License key records: retained while the license is active and for 2 years after expiry (legal/tax purposes).
- Saved presets and recipes (Unlimited Baker): deleted within 30 days of license cancellation on request.
- Email addresses collected via Stripe receipts: not stored by us beyond the key-delivery email.
6. Your rights (GDPR & applicable law)
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email support@wpsani.store. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data transfers
Our servers are located in the EU. Stripe and Google operate globally; data transfers to the US are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under GDPR Art. 46.
8. Children
BakeCostCalc is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any material changes to this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
